In addition to specializing in MS, Dr. Filippakis also has expertise in general neurology. She will be able to accommodate a limited number of general neurology patients in need of the following services:

• Headache and migraine management, including Botox treatments and occipital nerve blocks.

• Diagnosis and medication management of ADHD without comorbid mood disorders.

• Diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of tremor and Parkinson’s Disease.

• Syn-One skin biopsies for the diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease and related disorders.

• Non-surgical treatment of epilepsy with in-office EEG.

• Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias; formal cognitive testing.

• Chronic management of stroke.

• Diagnosis and treatment of restless leg syndrome.

Please note that Dr. Filippakis does NOT:

• Perform EMG and/or nerve conduction studies.

• Treat chronic pain disorders, CRPS, or POTS.
